POLICIES

Please see my policies below. If you have any additional questions, please see my FAQ page or contact me to further discuss your needs or concerns.

Payment

Full payment is due within 5 business days of scheduling lessons and must be included with your registration and liability release forms. Otherwise, your lesson schedule may be cancelled, and opened up to others for scheduling. Should you need to cancel  your series of lessons for any reason, payment will be refunded in full only if I can fill your slots with another student, minus a $35 processing fee.

Lesson Cancellation

Once lessons are scheduled, if you cannot make the lesson due to an emergency or sudden illness you will be charged for the lesson, as I have set the time aside for you. Otherwise, I will reschedule your missed lesson when there is availability.

Weather

I cannot control the weather and sometimes lessons need to be canceled at the last minute due to weather-related circumstances. If it is very cold (60's) or if we are experiencing heavy rain and/or thunder and lightning, the lesson will need to be rescheduled.  I will call/text you in advance if possible, but if you haven't heard from me and are questioning whether or not to come, please text my cell phone.  However, with cloudy conditions and just a light rain, lessons will remain scheduled unless the child is very young and would be adversely affected by the weather.  In the event of a cancellation, I will do my best to reschedule in a timely manner, either during my break time or as an open slot becomes available.

Pool Etiquette

Fieldstone Farms is a private pool for residents and their guests only. Therefore, parents and siblings of students taking swim lessons are NOT permitted to swim or play in the pool area. As a courtesy to the residents, both students and family members must leave the pool area immediately following the lesson.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

If you are a resident of the neighborhood, but your child is adversely affected by your presence, be prepared to disappear during the lesson as most children perform better when their parents are not in attendance.
